The Heart, The Soul, the Centre
The final version of an Old Demo I produced many years ago. I am pleased to announce that it’s now available for downloading.
To accompany it’s release, I’ve added a Video Clip with images from my extensive photographic archives.
With all the negative national media attention Alice Springs has received these past few years, I thought it was time to lift our collective spirits and strike a more positive chord, pun intended! I do hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing it. Once again, this production is 100% local. Please feel free to share this Clip and spread the word about our amazing corner of the globe. Better still, why not make plans to visit Central Australia yourself?

AFMA Winner
Traditional Album of the Year | 2023
If you’re looking to purchase award winning music then you’ve come to the right place! I’m thrilled to announce that at the recent Australian Folk Music Awards, my new album “The Wrong Tram” was voted Album Of the Year | Traditional 2023. As one of five nominees in the category, I managed to impress 50 (anonymous) folk music judges from around the nation!
BOOKINGS
As a long term Territorian and Entertainer, Barry Skipsey’s repertoire is mostly Australiana. However his song list does feature many Non Australia Classics. From Leonard Cohens ‘Hallelujah’, John Denver’s ‘Country Roads’ to Ralph Mc Tells ‘Streets of London’, songs can be tailored to suite any function. Whether that be an acoustic evening around a Campfire with an audience of 20-30. A larger audience outdoors with a Sound System or a Corporate Convention function inside with or without his projected images of the NT.
